This “Centennial Celebration” will commemorate the Chamber’s 100 Years of Building Business in and around the City of National City.
The National City Chamber has a wealth of business opportunities to celebrate over the past 100 years. “Our rich commercial history and vibrant community transcends through time and economic tides. We look forward to enabling business growth for another 100 years to come.” – Jacqueline Reynoso, President/CEO.
National City has one of the healthiest business climates in southern California, with the highest sales tax per capita in the county, and boasts more than 3,000 businesses- a remarkable number for a city with a population of 61,115.
The National City Chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest business / trade organizations in the region. That makes sense since National City was the first incorporated city in the South Bay region. Organized in 1905 as a Board of Trade, the National City Chamber of Commerce was chartered in 1911. Since then, the Chamber has worked to improve National City's business climate and quality of life by advocating for members, providing information on current issues, and supporting business growth and economic development.
The Chamber will inaugurate its 100th Chairman, Ryan Perry of Westfield Plaza Bonita, and its new Board of Directors at the Annual Installation Dinner. Join us for this historic celebration!
