DESCRIPTION:National City\, CA (May 6\, 2011) The Taste of National City is back\, marking its 20th year in National City. The Annual Taste of National City will be held on Friday\, May 6th\, 2011 from 4pm- 7pm at Heritage Square ("A" Ave. and 9th Street). \n\n\n\nIn celebration of 20 delicious years\, the National City Chamber will offer Local Charities 20% of proceeds from their ticket sales. Help support National City's nonprofit organizations!\n\n\n\nAlso\, we are encouraging all participating restaurants to provide a 20% discount on dine in food purchases for one full year to all paying guests. What a deal!\n\n At the "Taste\," local restaurants offer an array of multicultural food set to the tune of live bands including Afro Mestizo (Live Latin Band)\, Marcello and the Jalapeno Express\, and South Western College Mariachi. Entertainment will include art exhibits\, attractive raffle prizes\, FREE open houses held at Brick Row and the Kimball House Museum by the National City Historical Society.   \n\n Participating restaurants include:\n\n2009 Best of National City Award Winner\,  Birrias Chivos and Cheves\, as well as Buster's Beach House\, El Juan Caf \, El Pollo Loco\,  Ethnic Deli Caf \, Jamba Juice\, the Living Room Caf \, Manila Sunset\, Pat & Oscar's\, Peter Piper's Pizza\, Rodeo's Taquiza\, San Diego Pretzel Company\, Sizzler Restaurant\, Zappy's Pizza\, Stone Oven\, Tittas II\, Olivewood Gardens & Learning Center\, Rodeo's Taquizas\, the Barbecue Pit\, and Barrio Logan Winery.
