DESCRIPTION:Dear Residents & Businesses:\n\n \n\nThank you for being a good neighbor.  We want to remind you of the annual celebration that will be held around your neighborhood on Saturday\, May 28\, 2011.  The community will celebrate the Annual Philippine Faire 2011 at Kimball Park\, and hold the Independence Day Parade on the streets of E. 14th Street\, Kimball Way and D Avenue.\n\n \n\nYou are cordially invited to join us at the parade and festival to celebrate the richness and beauty of our diverse community.  Please feel free to bring your family and friends to watch the parade on Kimball Way and D Avenue near Kimball Park and spend part of your day at the festival in the park.  Recording artists and celebrities from the Philippines will complement our own community and school performers in providing FREE entertainment throughout the day. We appreciate your attendance\, as well as your patience\, with this fun-filled event.\n\n \n\nOn Saturday morning of May 28th\, there will be limited street closures/access surrounding those streets from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.  Some street parking on the parade route may not be available on the Friday evening before and the early morning of the event.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.  The parade will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am starting on E 14th Street & E\, through Kimball Way\, leading up to D Avenue and ending at Kimball Park.\n\n \n\nThe Philippine Faire festivities at the park will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with food\, health\, activity\, children\, safety and information booths set up for your enjoyment.\n\n \n\nWe appreciate your understanding and encouragement.  Hopefully\, you will be able to join the fun!  Thank you\, again.
