DESCRIPTION:This is a planning meeting for the Salute to Navy Event to be held on Wednesday\, October 6\, 2010. The event will be held at the Martin Luther King\, Jr. Community Center\, 140 E 12th Street\, National City\, CA 91950.  All attendees of this meeting should bring their cell phones for phone banking.  National City's Salute to Navy has been a longstanding tradition for the past 53 years. With strong ties to the Navy station\, National City holds this event every year during the month of October and jointly celebrates the Navy's birthday. This is the first and longest running event of its kind in the United States.
