DESCRIPTION:The National City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our newly formed Sponsorship Committee to support annual events and chamber programming. We have led successful campaigns to launch our Green Business Program\, the International Mariachi Fest and our Brewer Recruitment & Retention Services.  Ongoing support is needed to sustain these economic development programs. You can help!\n\n\n\nIf you enjoy nonprofit volunteerism\, leadership development\, thrive off fundraising challenges\, want to connect with high level professionals in philanthropy and regional government relations\, or simply want to lend a helping hand because it feels good - then we want you and your ideas at the table.\n\n\n\nJoin our Sponsorship Committee! \n\n\n\nYou are invited to attend our first meeting on November 13\, 2018 at 9am. Coffee and healthy snacks will be served. Please RSVP to (619) 477-9339 / thechamber@nationalcitychamber.org\n\n\n\nMission: To develop prospective sponsorship contact list and reach out to and secure corporate sponsors. Work with Team chair to recruit corporate sponsors as teams. \n\n\n\nThe Sponsorship Committee is responsible for the overall coordination of soliciting sponsorships for the National City Chamber of Commerce (NCCC) and its activities including special events\, workshops\, forums\, and programs. The Sponsorship Committee should represent the broad membership and scope of the Chamber.\n\n\n\nMeetings: Held Every 2nd Tuesday\, 9 AM \n\n\n\nChairperson: ______________________ (OPEN)\n\n\n\nCommittee Members to Date: Charles Reilly\, Carlos Solorio\n\n\n\nSecretary: ______________________ (OPEN)\n\n\n\nComposition: At least 8-10 volunteer members\n\n          Board members (Committee Chair should be a Board member)\n\n          Non-Board members (including potential Board members)\n\n          A few members have non-profit fundraising experience\n\n          Development / Professional Fundraisers (at least 2)\n\n          Staff: President / CEO and Office Manager
