The Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego along with other agencies from Mexico and the United States is pleased to invite you to the First Edition of the Financial Education Month Inauguration Ceremony.
The kick-off event will take place in National City, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Saturday March 5th 2011, at the South County Regional Education Center Auditorium located on 800 National City Blvd., National City, CA 91950.
Among the distinguished personalities to be present are Mr. Ron Morrison, National City Mayor; Javier Diaz de León, Executive Director of the Institute of Mexicans Abroad (IME); and Remedios Gómez Arnau, Consul General of Mexico in San Diego.
National City will host the first of a month long series of financial education fairs and workshops that will provide informative material, targeting the Spanish speaking community all around the San Diego County. The main subjects to be addressed will be money managements, use of credit cards, buying of cars and housing, college education resources, tax filing, fraud, and identity theft. This effort will have the participation of governments agencies, different financial institutions and non profit organizations, as well.
