COMMUNITY SERVICES MANAGER

THE DEPARTMENT:
The Library & Community Services Department provides services for all community members for their lifelong learning and growth. The Department encompasses the Library, Recreation Services and Senior Services, including the Senior Nutrition Program. The Library & Community Services Department provides information, resources, programs and community engagement to all residents.

THE POSITION:
To plan, direct, coordinate and manage the activities of the Community Services sections within the Library & Community Services Department through subordinate supervisors, which includes the Recreation and Recreation Specialized Services, Senior Services, Senior Nutrition Program, and Public Art and Cultural Asset projects; performs complex professional work in all phases of recreation and senior programs and services; and performs related work as required.
 
ALTERNATIVE WORK SCHEDULE:
The position works a 4/10 workweek, Monday through Thursday, 7am to 6pm. City offices are closed on Fridays. City facilities will also close for a period of approximately two weeks in December with time off for non-essential
