We Make it Happen…
In The Center Of It All

National City has it all. That’s why more than 2,500 businesses, large and small, and nearly 61,000  residents call National City home. We’re minutes from downtown San Diego, Balboa Park, and the international border.

Our children attend award-winning schools with before- and after-school programs to help them become successful learners. There’s our spacious library, as well as many parks and recreation centers, offering quality programs for residents.

Many of our businesses receive tax credits through the state-designated Enterprise Zone that covers 95 percent of our city. Several new retailers are building stores and refurbishing vacant properties, adding to our local economy and enhancing property values. National City is a shopper’s paradise with stores of all kinds as well as fabulous restaurants.

A community with a rich history and bright future … National City is a great place to live and work!
