Caregiver – Part-Time | Prosperity Home Care
Prosperity Home Care is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to join our growing team serving seniors and families throughout San Diego County.
We are a licensed non-medical home care organization committed to providing authentic, family- and community-centered care. Our caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while building meaningful relationships with the individuals and families they serve.
Caregiver Responsibilities
Caregivers may assist clients with:
- Personal care and activities of daily living
- Companionship and social engagement
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Mobility and walking assistance
- Medication reminders
- Transportation and accompaniment to appointments or errands
- Providing respectful, dependable support according to the client's care plan
Position Details
- Part-time caregiver opportunities
- Approximately 10–25 hours per week depending on client assignments
- Starting pay: $18–$20 per hour
- Typical minimum shift: 4 hours
- Client assignments available throughout San Diego County
- Hours and assignments depend on client needs and caregiver availability

- Comfortable working directly with seniors and families
- Reliable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- Strong communicators
- Respectful of different cultures, backgrounds, and family environments
- Interested in developing meaningful relationships with the people they serve
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but candidates with strong transferable experience and a genuine commitment to serving others are encouraged to apply.
Selected caregivers must meet applicable California Home Care Aide requirements before client assignment, including required registration, background clearance, health documentation, and training.
