Small Business Team Building Events: Meet with Shortlisted Prime Contractors

Changes offer more opportunity for small businesses
The open bidding process for each construction package has changed. The new process will allow for a minimum of 5 prequalified short-listed companies that have demonstrated a track record of small business participation to be selected as primes. Second tier contractors will be able to meet these short-listed prime contractors at the upcoming Small Business Team Building Events listed below.
The chart below is an overview of the revised procurement process. The changes provide greater opportunities for small businesses to be involved in The Green Build.

Over 50 packages put out over the next 2 months (11/17-11/19 & 12/2 - see attached flyers)with trade-specific SBE goals
The Green Build program is divided into two packages:

• Contract 1work (led by Turner/PCL/Flatiron) will include 10 new jet gates at Terminal 2 West, expanded dining and shopping options, as well as terminal, and airfield improvements. For a complete list of all Contract 1 project opportunities click here.

Meet with over 250 short-listed primes throughout the

Once bidders are short-listed based on their evaluation, the next step is to attend a Team Building Event, where you can meet with Short-listed Prime Contractors to get involved with The Green Build.
