South County EDC's Forum to Discuss Redevelopment
South County EDC is hosting this forum to discuss redevelopment. Recently, Governor Jerry Brown sparked a debate when he proposed cutting California's community redevelopment agencies in an effort to close the State's billion dollar budget deficit. This forum will present both sides of the potential effects the cuts could have on South San Diego’s cities, business community and job market, the effectiveness of redevelopment agencies and possible solutions to the State budget crisis. Audience will be invited to ask questions.
