    About Us

A 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to assisting young people moving towards progress while shining a light on their communities and culture. An Arts & Community Counseling & Learning Center.
The Vision Culture Foundation was created because we believe the need to offer support to teens and young people is more important than ever. As of late 2021:
    - Teen Suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth between 15-19 years old.
    - Between 2009-2021, major depression cases among teens between 16-18 years old rose by 69%.
    - Feelings of anxiety and hopelessness increased by 71% between 2009-2021 among young people between the ages of 16 and 25.
This decline in mental health and these feelings of hopelessness among the youth has been called an epidemic.
Our unwavering belief is that despite those stats, the future looks bright. The goal is to work together with today’s promising youth towards a bright vision for the future with an intentional focus on culture and its perpetually neglected voice. We hope to offer aid to young people with support focused on issues like mental health, information/news management, academics & career counseling, teenage homelessness, foster youth support, anti-bullying & peer pressure support, drug and alcohol counseling, peer counseling, arts programs, and youth entrepreneurship/vocational training. Our space will also house a Retail shop selling Art Supplies, Mexican & Asian Snacks, and SD Streetwear Apparel. Our building will also serve as a space to house Classes, Support and Peer Groups, Host Meetings/Mixers, & a beautiful vibrant Art Yard.
